Five Signs My Audi’s Suspension Is Bad

MMS Automotive is going to list five signs that you need to bring your Audi to our shop right away because the suspension needs work. It’s easy to forget about the suspension, and we can inspect the suspension thoroughly if it has not been serviced in years to make sure everything is okay. If you are having any of the following problems, your Audi’s suspension is not okay.

1. Feeling Every Bump

You should never feel every bump on the road that you drive over if the suspension is healthy. If the suspension is unhealthy, you will feel every bump. Unfortunately, this is a sign that the Audis struts and shocks, if it has shocks, need to be replaced because they are worn out. Once these suspension parts wear out, they are no longer able to absorb the uneven pavement over which you drive.

2. Low-Sitting Corner

It’s always a good idea to take a look at your Audi when it is parked on even pavement. You want to check to see if any of the corners of the automobile are sitting lower than the other corners. For example, if the Audi is sitting lower on the rear passenger wheel, there is a broken suspension spring on that wheel. We need to replace the spring as soon as possible to avoid further suspension damage.

3. Momentum Motion

Talking more about the struts and shocks, another sign that they are worn and need to be replaced is if you can feel your Audi’s momentum. What we mean by this is that the struts and shocks prevent the body of the automobile from moving backward, forward, or to the side depending on your acceleration, braking, and turning, respectively. Old struts and shocks will make the body move.

4. Problems Steering

Another sign that your Audi’s suspension is overdue for service and repair is problems steering the European automobile. This can be a sign that you have a problem in the steering system that needs immediate attention. It’s important to have any steering concerns addressed right away because you must be able to control your Audi completely when you are on the road.

5. Veering Off-Center

Finally, you are steering straight but the Audi is pulling to the side. This veering is an indication that you need to have the wheels on your Audi realigned.
